The GHS Book Club is dedicated to promoting literacy within our school and community.  Book Club members read a new book every 2. 5 months and meet during club day times to discuss and critique the book.  Members also participate in community service projects to try to increase the importance of literacy.  One of the ways Book Club targets literacy is by scheduling field trips to elementary schools in the parish to participate in literacy reading/activity days.
